Espresso Resume – Refund and Warranty Policy
Espresso Resume offers two distinct satisfaction guarantees depending on the product and subscription plan selected. These guarantees are designed to ensure customer confidence and provide flexibility based on their goals and experience.
1. Guarantee Overview

2. 60-Day Interview Guarantee
Who qualifies:
- Users who do not cancel before completing 2-months of subscription
- NOTE: This guarantee can be used in-tandem with the 6-month satisfaction guarantee add-on
Steps to qualify:
- Apply to at least 30 jobs using Espresso’s application tracker within the first 30 days after subscribing. Each application must be logged with a status marked as “applied” and a date of application within the built-in Espresso Application Tracker.
- If you do not log any interviews (status marked as “Callback” or “Interview”) by day 60, your third month is free — we’ll automatically pause your next subscription payment while keeping your access active for 30 additional days. On the 90th day, your paid subscription will resume unless cancelled.

NOTE: “Callback” is defined as any response from an employer indicating next steps beyond the initial application, including but not limited to phone screens, online screening, in-person meetings, requests for additional information, etc. A rejection email is not a callback.
“Interview” is defined as a meeting with the hiring manager, which can be online, over the phone, in person, etc.

Automatic eligibility check:
- This is handled entirely within the platform. If you meet the application requirement and have no interviews logged, your subscription billing will automatically pause for one month on day 60. You do not need to contact us to receive the benefit.
Disqualification:
- Canceling your subscription before the second month’s billing cycle begins voids this guarantee.
3. 6-Month Satisfaction Guarantee
Who qualifies:
- Users on a 6-month subscription plan (automatically included).
- Users on a monthly plan who purchase the $10 satisfaction guarantee add-on at checkout.
What it covers:
- For 6-month subscriptions: If you’re not completely satisfied at any time within 6 months of the original subscription start date, you can request a full refund, no questions asked.
- For monthly subscriptions + add-on: If you’re not completely satisfied at any time within 6 months of the purchase date of the add-on, you can request a full refund for any payments made within the 6-months after the purchase of the add-on, including the add-on fee itself.
How to request a refund:
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request.”
- We will process eligible refunds within 1 business week, and additional time may be required depending on your bank or Stripe’s processing time.
Conditions:
- Refunds are only granted if you have made a payment.
- Only full refunds are issued. No partial or prorated refunds are provided for early cancellations.
- Users who have received a refund will lose access to the platform.
- Users who subscribed to a monthly plan and paid the $10 add-on fee will receive a full refund of the fees paid within the six months since purchasing the add-on, including the add-on fee itself.
4. Additional Terms
Misuse and abuse:
- We reserve the right to deny a refund in cases of fraud, abuse of the policy, or clear misrepresentation. That said, our approach is lenient — if you paid and you’re not satisfied, you’ll likely get your refund.
Geographic coverage:
- These guarantees apply globally, provided that we can receive and refund payments through Stripe or your payment provider.
